Yes. Some of our shorts are intentionally designed with a slightly longer length. Covering the knees gives parents extra peace of mind in case kids trip or fall, and more importantly, it creates a modern and polished silhouette.
While maintaining the functionality kids need to move around freely and actively, we carefully pursued the perfect balance that style-conscious moms can also appreciate.

Do you ever find yourself surprised by the “adventures” boys go on, Hamayu-san?
Absolutely (laughs). Last summer, a young boy I know proudly gave me a huge collection of cicada shells as a present. I still can’t forget the excited and proud expression on his face at that moment.
At b.ROOM, we hope to support children’s pure curiosity and spirit of adventure through both design and functionality.
It sounds like there’s a special item coming this summer to make that sense of excitement even bigger.
That’s right! To celebrate the release of the new The Mandalorian & Grogu film that boys everywhere are excited about, b.ROOM has prepared a special collaboration T-shirt collection as well.
Of course, the fan-favorite graphics are a highlight, but we also paid special attention to the comfortable jersey fabric. Even after sweating, it stays smooth and dry against the skin, and it dries quickly after washing. Just like Jedi adventuring across harsh planets, these T-shirts are designed to fully support kids as they power through Japan’s hot summer days in total comfort.
If you were to compare the mindset we can learn from the Star Wars series to everyday school life, what would it be?
The films teach us the courage to face any challenge and the importance of believing in yourself. The walk to school is like a small galactic adventure where children take steps forward on their own, away from their parents’ hands.
“May the Force be with you” — with that message in mind, we created these collaboration T-shirts. By wearing clothes they truly love, children can stand a little taller, feel more confident, and take that first step forward with courage. We’d be happy if these pieces could bring a little bit of that magic into their everyday lives.
